Reaching out to begin therapy can be a daunting task. I would ask you to remind yourself that we all deserve a genuine and safe space to heal, learn and grow. Everyone’s journey in life is unique, with obstacles and triumphs. We each owe it to ourselves to create a space where we can make meaning of it. In art therapy, clients have the opportunity to engage with different forms of art as well as traditional talk therapy. No experience with art is required.
In session, art provides an additional way to express and communicate thoughts and feelings as well as work through struggles such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, stress and much more.
As an art therapist, I work to provide a safe space for clients to take control of their goals and therapeutic experience at their own pace. My therapeutic approach is holistic and person centered in practice. I also have experience in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Within each session, I work to provide a confidential, inclusive and safe environment to support your therapeutic goals and allow you to be in charge of your journey.
